The units are inserted in a renovated 18th century building and include a living room with a sofa and satellite TV, free WiFi, DVD player, private bathroom with hairdryer, fully-equipped kitchenette, and a view over the river or the Vila Nova de Gaia riverfront area. The modernly decorated apartments have exposed stone walls and some feature a balcony with a full view of the Douro River. These self-catering apartments have a kitchenette with all the necessary utensils to prepare meals. They include a microwave, refrigerator, stove, cutlery, coffee machine and a separate dining area. The property is a 5-minute walk from a number of local restaurants serving traditional Portuguese meals, tapas and the typical Francesinha (regional dish with assorted meats, bread, cheese and a rich sauce).
