The Oakland Hotel is situated in the centre of the riverside town of South Woodham Ferrers, 15 miles from Southend-on-Sea. Close to the River Crouch, all rooms have private bathrooms. The hotel is within easy reach of A127, A12 and M25. The Hotel has easy access to the Olympic Stadium, with trains from South Woodham Ferrers to Stratford taking 45 minutes.

The Oakland Hotel has music in the Jaydeez sport and music bar on the following nights: - Friday: Club night until 01:00 - Saturday: Live band until 01:00 - Bank Holiday, Sundays: Live entertainment until 01:00. Oakland will try to allocate a quiet room, but you may experience some noise on these nights. Please note the hotel does not have a lift or any rooms on the ground floor. Payment for your room is taken prior to check in. This will be done up to 24 hours before your arrival. If your card is declined for any reason the hotel will contact you for alternative card details. If payment cannot be taken the hotel will not be able to hold your room.
