Le Bistrot Pierre offers French cuisine and a superb river view, while The Bear Bar and Kitchen serves traditional English dishes. Guests can also relax in the courtyard garden at Macdonald Swan's Nest. The spacious rooms all have a 26-inch Freeview LCD TV, a walk-in monsoon shower and free mineral water. Many rooms also feature scenic views of the hotel’s garden. Guests have free access to the leisure facilities at the nearby Macdonald Alveston Manor, featuring a pool, gym, sauna and steam room. There is public parking onsite for an extra cost.

Children under 14 sharing a room with adults are accommodated free and charged for meals as taken. Children under 16 occupying their own room are charged at 75% of the adult price. The credit/debit card used to book an Advance Purchase rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel. Please note that failure to do so will result in an alternative payment method being required. Pets are charged at GBP 15 per pet per night. All children under 2 years of age stay free of charge in the cots. A maximum of 1 cot can be accommodated in each room.
