This 19th-century country town hotel is perfectly located on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, in the tranquil village of Rothbury, just 11 miles from Alnwick. It boasts an award-winning Italian restaurant. Coquetvale Hotel is an ideal base for walking, cycling or outdoor pursuits, or simply just a nice relaxing break for the weekend. Guests can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in the restaurant, which is full of character. Because of its popularity, it is strongly advisable for guests to phone ahead and reserve a table, particularly during busy holiday periods and at weekends. The bedrooms are all spacious en suite rooms with colour TV and hospitality trays. The superior rooms are larger, with lovely views towards the centre of Rothbury and the surrounding countryside, and boast spa baths and separate cubicle showers.

Limited free parking is available in the hotel car park. Alternative free parking is available on the roadside just in front of the hotel. Please note that the restaurant is open every night throughout the summer months but opening hours are sometimes limited. Please call in advance to check if required. The hotel reception is situated on the ground floor with the restaurant and bar located on the second floor. Access is via a stairway from reception to the 1st, 2nd, and top floors. The hotel has no lift facility due to its historic nature.
