Uniquely located in the heart of Peneda/Gerês National Park, this Pousada overlooks the river Cávado and the peaceful Caniçada dam. It offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant with panoramic views. All air-conditioned rooms at the Pousada Geres-Caniçada are cozy and decorated with light-coloured furnishings. They include a flat-screen TV, a seating area and a private bathroom. Guests of the Pousada Geres-Caniçada can enjoy the natural setting with nature activities such as fishing, canoeing, and hiking. Guests can also relax on the Pousada’s large terrace or in the garden. Traditional Portuguese cuisine prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients is served in the Pousada’s restaurant. Meals and drinks from the bar can be enjoyed outside overlooking the river.
