Situated in Playa Blanca in the south of Lanzarote, the HI Rio Playa Blanca complex is near the protected Los Ajaches Natural Reserve and enjoys views of the islands of Lobos and Fuertaventura. The Playa Blanca features one-bedroom bungalows. Each bungalow is air-conditioned and has a lounge, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and terrace. Hotel Rio Playa Blanca has a restaurant and lounge-bar. It also provides evening entertainment. Facilities at the Rio Playa Blanca include an outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace with loungers . The hotel also has sports facilities, including tennis court, a children´s playground and bike rental. Flamingo beach is only 300 metres away from the complex. Local activities include water sports and hiking, as the Timanfaya National Park is just a short drive away.

Please note that the hotel considers children as adults from 7 years of age. If 2 adults come with a child aged 6 or under, they should reserve a bungalow for 2 adults and mention in comments that they have a child. Reception will ask for identification for children.
