Built in Bauhaus style in 1927 and completely renovated in 2008, the Hotel Monte Verità enjoys an elevated position above Ascona and Lake Maggiore, amid a large garden with exotic plants. Guests can enjoy bright and elegant rooms, some with a balcony and some with views of Lake Maggiore. It includes an à-la-carte restaurant offering superb views of the lake and a Japanese tea house with a Zen garden. A TV lounge is available as well.
