Situated on Kota Kinabalu’s Dalit Bay, Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort and Spa is set amidst a nature reserve whole overlooking the idyllic beach and surrounded by a large tropical rainforest ensuring the feeling of privacy and seclusion. Rooms at the Shangri-La's Rasa Ria feature a private lanai or balcony and free high speed internet access. Each room has air conditioning, a cable TV, minibar and pillow menu. En suite bathrooms come with free toiletries. The resort is home to an eco-friendly championship golf course and the magnificent Spa at Dalit Bay. Unique to the resort is the Nature Interpretation Centre, gateway to the Nature Reserve where guests can meet Borneo's wildlife. This can be done through activities such as jungle walks and nocturnal watch, where guests may be able to spot wildlife such as civet cat, slow loris, flying foxes and more. Offering a vast selection of international cuisines, such as Japanese, Italian, Malaysian and Asian favourites at the award-winning restaurants, this resort also offers a beachside bar and music lounge for a relaxing drink. Friendly staff are fluent in English, Chinese and Malay. Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort is a 45-minute drive from Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Private airport transfers and shuttle service to Kota Kinabalu are available for a fee.

Reservations made from 16 November 2016, there is a compulsory gala dinner on 28 January 2017 and 29 January 2017 at an extra charge for all guests. These charges are not included in the room rates and are to be paid directly to the property upon check-in. Rates are MYR 198 per person per day for a buffet on either day. === The Malaysian government implements an additional Goods and Service Tax (GST).
