Made from Zelkova wood with traditional Japanese design, Hodakaso Sangetsu offers traditional rooms with scenic mountain views and a modern private bathroom with an open-air hot-spring bath made out of cypress wood. Located in the Hida-Takayama Onsen area, the hotel is a 60-minute drive from JR Takayama Station. The Shin-Hotaka Ropeway (Cable Car) is a 11-minute drive while the Kamikochi area is a 60-minute drive away. Mt. Norikura is a 75-minute bus ride and Shirakawago is a 90-minute drive away. Guests at Hodakaso Sangetsu ryokan can enjoy views of the Hida-Takayama Mountains in peaceful elegance, with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon beds.
