Just a 5-minute drive from Matsumoto Castle, Ryokan Seifuso offers a Japanese cultural experience with traditional accommodation, hot public baths and tea ceremony and kimono classes. Located in the Shinshu area of Nagano just 35 km from the natural beauty of Kamikochi, the hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the Matsumoto Ukiyo-e (Japanese woodblock print) Museum. JR Matsumoto Train Station is a 15-minute drive away, and the Ryokan offers a free shuttle bus between 10:00 and 20:00. The air-conditioned rooms include a refrigerator, flat-screen satellite TV and free in-room Wi-Fi. Each has a tatami (woven straw) floor and Japanese-style futon bedding. All guests use shared bathing facilities and most use shared toilets. Seifuso Ryokan is entirely non-smoking. A DVD player and a computer with free internet access are provided in the common area.
