Velassaru Maldives offers luxurious beachfront and over-water accommodation with uninterrupted ocean views. The private bathroom comes with L'Occitane bath products, beach bags and slippers. A wide variety of international specialities are prepared at Velassaru’s 5 restaurants, including fresh contemporary sea food, Japanese, international and grill pan Indian options. The 2 beach bars serve cocktails and wines. In-villa or private island dining can also be arranged. Velassaru Maldives is a 25-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport.

Please note that the property is providing complimentary one way transfers for the stay period March 2017. It is provided for all plans and categories of each reservation. Since each room type on Velassaru has a different occupancy level, please ensure guest is reserving the correct room type in order to be accommodated comfortably. Guests booking process allows maximum of 02 guests to be booked hence if additional guests are travelling please take note on the extra adult and child supplements listed above. Children at resort are considered when they are between 2 to under 12 years of age. Resort Transfer: All guests are advised to inform of their arrival and departure flight details at the time of booking, or at least 72 hours prior to arrival. The resort will arrange for a roundtrip 25-minute speed boat transfer to the resort from Malé International Airport. Two types of transfers are available: A group transfer by return speedboat: USD 131 + tax per adult, child 50%. A private transfer by return speedboat: USD 350 + tax per adult, child 50% Meal inclusive rates: If Guests wish to book a meal plan separately, please contact the resort directly. Meal plan charges are as below, Half Board: USD 71 + taxes per adult per night, child 50% Full Board: USD 122 + taxes per adult per night, child 50% Please note that for bookings on Half Board & Full Board package, meal rates for 2 guests are included in the nightly rate. For Package Bookings, extra adult/child will be charged separately according to the given cost for meals and room stay. Velassaru has mandatory Gala Dinners on 24th December and 31st December each year. All charges are to be paid at the property as below, Christmas Eve Gala: USD 147 + tax per adult, child 50% New Year Eve Gala: USD 221 + tax per adult, child 50% Resort will be in touch with the guest once booking is confirmed in order to proceed with payment and to provide further information guests may require. The resort requires pre-payment for all reservations at least 14 days prior to arrival, whichever is earlier. It accepts payment in USD, EUR and GBP currencies. (Major currencies are exchangeable at reception). In the event of cancellation, taxes will be charged on top of the cancellation fee. Beverages include: Water, soft drinks, juices, house-pouring beer, a selection of wines and liquors. Exclusions: In-villa dining, mini bar, private dining experiences & themed events.
