At an altitude of 2583 metres, Hotel Schwarzsee offers breath-taking views of the Valais Alps and ski-to-door access from the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise Ski Area. The Schwarzsee Gondola Lift is 100 metres away, from where porters take your luggage. Prepared with fresh ingredients, the traditional-style restaurant at Hotel Schwarzsee serves a buffet breakfast and international and traditional dishes with sparks of creativity. Meals can be enjoyed out on the terrace accompanied by superb mountain views. Local musicians play daily and there is also a cosy lounge and bar. Rooms have either private or shared bathroom facilities. Some have a balcony with views of the Matterhorn or Zermatt. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel. Ski storage and boot-drying facilities are on site. Naturally, hiking opportunities are plentiful in the area.

Please note that Hotel Schwarzsee is only reachable with the gondola lifts from Zermatt to Schwarzsee via Furi (or by a 2.5 hour walk in the summer). The last gondola leaves Zermatt at 15:00.
