High-end luxury meets nature at Gaya Island Resort, a quiet getaway surrounded by coral reefs, sandy beaches and rainforest. Gaya Island Resort is on Pulau Gaya, within the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park off the coast of Borneo. It is a 10 minute speedboat ride from Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal. Jesselton Point is a 20 minute drive from Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Guests can enjoy water sports activities such as diving and snorkelling at the beach. Day cruises and bird watching trips can also be arranged at the concierge desk. The front desk operates 24 hours. The pool-side Feast Village serves the best of local and international cuisines from 3 large kitchens and offers wine from its private cellars. The rooftop Fisherman's Cove serves freshly caught seafood. Cocktails can be enjoyed at the Pool Bar Lounge.

Please note that guests (including children) are charged a Marine Park conservation fee of MYR 32 per guest for the first night stay, followed by an additional MYR 22 for each night thereof. The fees will be included in the hotel bill, and will be collected upon check-out. This fee is part of the preservation of Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park, and is inclusive of 6% GST. === Gaya Lounge, Gaya Island Resort’s office for guest arrivals and departures including speedboat transfers between Gaya Island Resort and Kota Kinabalu will be relocated from their current premises at Sutera Harbour Marina to Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal. === Please note that room rates do not include speedboat transfers. Speedboat transfers have be to pre-booked and a chargeable per person, per way. Speedboat transfers are available at MYR 70 per adult, per way and MYR 35 per child, per way (2-11 years old). === The speedboat transfer schedule is as follows: Jesselton Point to Resort – 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 21:00 Resort to Jesselton Point – 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 18:30 and 21:30 For arrivals apart from the scheduled times, a private charter boat can be prearranged at MYR500 per way per boat. Please note that private charter boat will be MYR700 per way per boat between 21:00 to 07:00. These are additional costs and are to be paid directly to the hotel. === Please use the Special Request box to inform the hotel of your arrival details and preferred pick-up time as per speedboat schedule.
