This family-run hotel offers country-style rooms, a private bathing lake and a Bavarian restaurant with free Wi-Fi. It is located in the German Alps, between Siegsdorf and Inzell. Stood on the site of an 18th-century tavern, the Hotel Hörterer der Hammerwirt provides rooms in the main hotel building, the renovated blacksmith’s or the annexe beside the lake. Each room at the Hammerwirt features wooden furniture, cable TV and a bathroom with hairdryer. Most rooms include a terrace or balcony. Large breakfast buffets, meals and Bavarian snacks are served in the Hörterer der Hammerwirt’s restaurant. In warm weather, guests can eat in the shady beer garden. High-quality rental bicycles, mountain bikes, and electric bicycles can be rented at the Hammerwirt. The Hotel Hörterer der Hammerwirt is 6 km from the A8 motorway. Lake Chiemsee is a 15-minute drive away and Salzburg can be reached in 30 minutes.

Please note that the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays but the hotel will be happy to give you some tips. On prior request, guests can enjoy snacks and drinks in their room. Please contact the property in advance to organize the key pick-up if you plan on arriving before 17:00 or after 19:00. Reception is open 07:30 - 11:30 and again from 17:00 - 19:00. In the winter months between December to April the reception has limited check-in hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 17:00 to 20:00.
