Awarded by the Travel Association for their traditional multi-course meals, Kissenkan Chikusuitei offers Japanese-style accommodations. Guests can relax in the 24-hour operated indoor/outdoor public baths featuring hot spring water. A free shuttle is available from JR Gero Train Station, which is a 5-minute walk away and must be reserved at time of booking. The air-conditioned rooms have tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle are included in each. Japanese Yukata robes and slippers are provided for all guests. Some rooms have an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. Massages can be requested for an extra cost and you can sing your favourite songs at the karaoke room. Award winning traditional multi-course dinners feature local and seasonal ingredients. A Japanese set menu is served for breakfast. Meals are served at either the guests’ rooms or at the dining room. Chikusuitei Kissenkan Ryokan is a 20-minute walk from Gero Onsen Gassho Village and a 10-minute drive from Zensho-ji Temple.

Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. Guests must check in by 18:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.
