A 5-minute drive from JR Nagoya Train Station, Kyoya Ryokan is an adult only property that offers simple Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy Japanese meals and relax in the public bath. This property cannot accommodate children. The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests while most rooms come with an en suite bathroom. A coin-launderette and drink vending machines are on-site. A safety deposit box is provided at the front desk and guests can relax at the traditional garden. A free-use computer is available at the lobby. A Japanese set menu featuring Nagoya's local cuisine is served for dinner. Ryokan Kyoya is a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Castle and a 15-minute walk from Noritake Garden. Tsurumai Park is a 20-minute train ride away.

Guests without a meal plan who want to eat breakfast at the property must make a reservation at least 4 days in advance. To eat dinner at the property, a reservation must be made at least 4 days in advance. Please be informed that the entire property will become non-smoking as of 11 November 2016. A deposit via Square is required to secure your reservation. The property will send an email with payment instructions after the booking is made. Guests must make the payment with a credit card via Square within the instructed date or your reservation will be cancelled.
