Offering a variety of traditional German and international dishes, this hotel is located in the heart of the Black Forest, just 20 km from Freudenstadt. Featuring a timber-framed façade, typical of Germany, the Hotel-Pension Sonne offers comfortably furnished rooms with fine, wooden furnishings, satellite TV and a seating area. Most rooms feature Wi-Fi access. Each morning, guests can sit down to a rich, freshly prepared breakfast buffet. In the afternoons, cocktails and snacks are available in the café bar next door. This features a billiards table, dart board, and piano. In good weather guests can enjoy a drink or the hotel's delicious homemade cakes on the Sonne’s outdoor sun terrace, overlooking the scenic Baden-Württemberg countryside. The Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach Bare Park is just a 3-minute drive from the Sonne Hotel-Pension. Electric bikes can be hired for exploring the many surrounding cycle paths.

Please note that until 24 March 2016, the restaurant will be closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant opens at 17:00. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner on Sundays.
