The family-run Joainig's Hotel Garni in Pörtschach offers a private beach with deck chairs and sunshades right on the shore of Lake Wörth, only a few metres away. The restaurant has a conservatory and serves Carinthian specialities and Mediterranean cuisine. Each of the spacious rooms has a balcony, flat-screen satellite TV, refrigerator, and bathroom. Breakfast can also be served to your room on request. On arrival, guests are welcomed with a glass of prosecco and a bottle of mineral water in the room. On request, bathrobes and slippers, tea kettles, and baby monitors can be provided. The Joainig features a spa area with a sauna, steam bath, and fitness room. A big children’s playground with many games and activities can be found in the garden. Child care is available on the playground during mealtimes in July and August. Free high-speed WiFi access is available, and there is an internet terminal with a printer in the lobby. You can park your car for free on site, and bicycles are provided free of charge to explore the surroundings (subject to availability). The centre of Pörtschach is about a 15-minute walk away from the Joainig. On request, free transfers from and to Klagenfurt Airport and the train stations in Klagenfurt and Pörtschach are offered.
