Only a 10-minute walk from Lake Faak, the family-run Hotel-Pension Melcher is set amid the Karawanken Mountain Range. Most rooms have a balcony with mountain and lake views. The rich breakfast buffet offers fine local specialities and an organic corner, and dinner can be booked directly on site. Guests of the Melcher can relax in the open-air lounge with an open fireplace in front of the house, and there is also a terrace with a small smoking area. In summer, admission to the Drobollach beach is free for hotel guests. Many hiking trails can be found in the immediate surroundings. Parking and WiFi in public areas are free of charge, and there are also seminar rooms on site.
