This Hilton Garden Inn includes indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and one free 90-minute entry to the wellness centre. Set in a 5-hectare park, it is 10 minutes' drive from Matera's Sassi, a UNESCO site and offers free parking. The functional rooms offer free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a tea/coffee maker. Some rooms offer extra space and a satellite TV. The wellness centre is complete with gym, sauna, Turkish bath, and relaxation area. Massages and beauty treatment are also available. La Piazzetta restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and serves delicious regional and international dishes. Please note that the spa and indoor pool are closed for renovation work from 13 November until 20 December 2016. Please note availability of poolside sunbeds is not guaranteed. Sun beds can be booked at the wellness centre. The outdoor pool is open only from June until September, and comes at extra cost. The free 90-minute entry to the wellness centre has to be booked in advance. Drinks and food are not allowed by the outdoor pool.
