Pousada do Capitão is just 50 meters from the beach and nearby shopping and historical centres. It offers accommodation inspired by English naval ships. Free W-Fi and several recreational facilities are provided. Pousada do Capitão Plaza Inn (or Inn Lodge Captain) provide rooms that feature views of the swimming pool. All rooms include air conditioning, cable TV, DVD, minibar and hairdryer. Facilities include a hot tub with hydro massage, sauna, a games room, massage room, reading room with a mini-library. Free Wi-Fi and home theatre with a collection of DVDs are also available. Several varieties of bread, cake, cereal, yoghurt and jam are served daily for breakfast. Homemade dishes, French cuisine, and an à la carte menu are served at the inn’s restaurant. For drinks and snacks, guests can head to the Pool Bar. From Pousada do Capitão Plaza, guests can enjoy walks to Ilhabela, deserted beaches, trails and waterfalls.

Please note that the property's hot tub will be closed for maintenance from November 5, 2014 to November 15, 2014. According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarised copies of their IDs. All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents. In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarised authorisation signed by the absent parent, along with a notarised copy of that parent's ID.
